The lovely Kate Bush has come back with a new single called 'King of the Mountain', 12 years off and next month 2cd set of new material is released.
It ‘s a good enough single but after watching the video of Ch4 at 10.35 I question why a 48 year artistic, intelligent singer songwriter would want to make a commercial return to the pop world? I mean the average age of a musician is 21. People move on and artists evolve and try different avenues. Selling singles is a very teenage market - maybe Bush should have secretly put her new album in the shops without singles or marketing and no videos.
