Cripes! a bottom painter has been nominated for the Turner Prize. Gillian Carnegie (no relation of the American gazillionaire) will be exhibiting paintings of things we can recognize. But wait a moment haven't other painters won the prize, such as C. Ofili recently. But let's make the story that a painter has been nominated the story.
Jim Lambie tapes things like Bridget Riley, the other guys Starling and Almond are traditional contemporary artists who make bus shelters of concetration camps about plutonium mines with drawings of cacti, ie bollocks.
