Thus far some Muslims have got very angry that a Danish paper published pictures of Muhammad. It seems ricidulous that people get very very angry about people not believing their religion. And probably the furore will end up with people dead. It seems obvious that people should have the right to be offensive about religion (something we choose, unlike race or ethnicity which is inherited and inescapable). As a corollary, and although it is a bogus connection it is often a point of reference in this context, newspapers in Muslim countries have been known to print anti-semitic cartoons, which seems worse.
