mealy mouthed british newspapers are too scared to publish the cartoons. the appeasers think not offending fanatics is gonna make the zealots less demanding. foolish. giving in usually just increases demands. and what happened to solidarity amongst journalists. the excuse that the cartoons aren't funny is weak, it's not because they're good that they should be shown, but because people and property are being threatened with death and destruction, that's means it's necessary to express support for secularism and freedom to offend.
