Actually this looks more interesting from a distance than is does close up, the walls are covered with fuzzy images that form an almost landscape pieced together (how it looks to me), in fact it looks more interesting than the idea proposed on the press release. "He is interested in the media's tendency to flatten an individual's experience". The installation is actually made up of images from the newspaper that have been erased with an pencil eraser. Thinking of it like that reminds me of when I stuck newspaper articles mixed with magazine pictures to my ceiling as a teenager - my installation wasn't very good and it sagged in the middle. Finally when I tore it down I had to spend ages picking off the bits of blue tack and sellotape, resulting in aching arms. www.katemacgarry.com
