I don't think that everything has to be pleasant and beautiful but I like it better if it can be remarkable in some way. On route to see Jungles in Paris I looked in at the small section of the Tate where Catherine Sullivan has a small show of gruesome videos. The thing is I just feel that I have seen quite a few of these noisy and painful type videos where the actors are ridiculous. Perhaps as a short stop it isn't bad as a kind of shot of confusions and weird emotions with out much cohesion, but my attention span is too short for much more than a couple of minutes of this stuff, may be I am missing out, and making it impossible to get any thing from it. It reminded me of a children's program I used to watch with all its exaggerated nonsense.
