Review

A nice palace, if ever there was one. Like my father, I paid a reduced rate for services to the state. The outsized swimming pool was closed off, rather a shame. It's much fun to swim and dance in the steaming rain if you can do it. The same old slides were there. Even my nine year old nephew found them boring. 3/4 of the swimming pool was closed off for a private party, the deep end was for diving. I dived off the baby board to the amusement of my siblings. Hoped to accede to the big board with my new-found confidence, but the weekly one and a half hours allotted to Jersey diving had run out. Was only two behind the last guy, but not close enough. Hardly the breeding ground for the next Greg Louganis. Still a Jersey lad won an Olympic bronze in Sydney. We used to swim together at Fort Regent, but they closed that down. Where has all the talent gone?

Okay, so they had the half hourly wave machine, which was crowded with other fat families. Alright, I think I'm a better guy because I watch my pork life. What's the harm in that?

Retired to the sauna and steam room where I almost fainted with boredom. Went home and ate some cookies.
