I have tried my best to watch this oscar favourite. Apart from my boredom with worthy biopics (always actors hamming it up copying the mannerisms of dead famous people better captured on tv tape), and my never having enjoyed a Phillip seymour Hoffman film, the whole starts dull, and has the mark of the serious Hollywood film all over it, and thus inexorably allows my attention to drift away. So I haven't watched and can;t recommend it.
