I found Inka first through <a href="http://www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk/artists/inka_essenhigh.htm">The Saatchi Gallery</a>. I agree that her subject matter in the older paintings is stronger and more compelling, but I do like some of her newer shading techniques. Considering the progression of paintings on her website, it looks like she's enjoying applying new techniques. I wouldn't say that the new stuff is better or worse, just different.
