A ten p print, which is an A4 picture of a ten p coin? A note at a cashpoint reading, 'he's behind you'. I'm sorry Dr P, but as a doctor, you ought to recognise that this is a symptom of what is now commonly referred to by those in the know as a 'conceptual disorder' - the obsessive tendency to churn out pat, trivial and unfunny conceptual art ideas according to conventions defined some forty years ago. This disorder itself is often a symptom itself of another, more serious illness, generally known as unseemly, overweening ambition. The patient should be restricted from reading any more books about conceptual art or making anything that doesn't take longer than a week to finish and put on a course of serious literature, philosophy and art history.
