the mille feiullle is top of the tree. phew. custardy and light crisp pastry leaves. next the coffee eclare..not a classic but the coffee cuts the sugary custard.. choc eclair is pronounced too sweet.. the chocolate cake is spectacularly dressed but not moist enough inside (sound familiar?).. and their new enormous shop near spitalfields has a willy wonkaish grandiosity that is pleasurable.
