Nostalgia tv. Remember when you were a kid, poor, black. Think of the music, the clothes, the hair cuts of 1982. Compare Happy Days, Wonder Years, that seventies show. The 80s are the new 70s. It's a bit surreal like a lot of recent sit coms. And the Chris Rock voiceover is sharp enough to work, with all its lazy linking, unlike Desp Housewives. Still quite watchable on UKs channel 5.
