I haven't reviewed on here for a year or so. I thought I'd return briefly to share the fact that I remembered my favourite illustrated book ever. I saw it again today and I have no doubt it is the finest book of its kind ever produced. It is 'Angry Arthur' by Hiawyn Oram and Satoshi Kitamura. Twenty years have not mellowed this faultlessly brilliant book for children. As a child it blew my mind, as an adult it just makes me dizzy with admiration. Thanks. Also important, but in a different way, is Carmen Callil's new book 'Bad Faith.'
